Cleveland, OH — May 6, 2026 — BridgePort Group (BPG) is proud to announce that Andre
Bryan, Managing Partner, served as a featured panelist in the Wake Up With Weatherhead
speaker series hosted by the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western
Reserve University. The panel discussion, titled “The Future of Operations & Supply
Management,” convened industry leaders, students, faculty, and business professionals
for a dynamic and forward-looking exchange on the evolving role of supply chains.
The session began with brief introductions, where each panelist went beyond titles and
organizations to share their personal supply chain career journeys, offering attendees
insight into the diverse pathways within the profession. The panel then transitioned into a
robust discussion of supply chain issues and opportunities, reflecting both shared
challenges and distinct perspectives across industries.
In a format aligned with the supply chain value continuum, panelists were seated
according to where their organizations operate—from raw materials to end consumer.
Participants included representatives from Materion (raw materials), BridgePort Group
(3PL/logistics), Rockwell Automation (manufacturing/3PL), and SimpleTire (e-
commerce/consumer). This structure enabled a holistic and interconnected discussion of
supply chain operations.
The panel session, moderated by the Director of the Master of Supply Chain Management
Program at Weatherhead, was designed to explore the future of operations and supply
chain management. While not every topic was covered in full, the discussion addressed
several of the most critical global supply chain themes, including:
• Reimagining supply chains for resilience and sustainability
• Leveraging emerging technologies and AI to build agile, intelligent operations
• Balancing efficiency with environmental and social responsibility
• Using data-driven insights to improve decision-making
• Exploring career pathways and expanding opportunities for students pursuing roles
in supply chain and operations management
• Leadership strategies for future-proofing global operations
The conversation concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing attendees to interact
directly with panelists and further explore the ideas presented.
Andre Bryan’s contributions were particularly well received by the audience, which
included students, faculty, and regional business leaders. His commentary on geopoliticalrisk management, supply chain resiliency, and the practical application of emerging
technologies and artificial intelligence resonated strongly and generated significant
interest.
“Thank you for making our last Wake Up With Weatherhead of the academic year a
smashing success,” said one of the event organizers.
An attendee added, “I wanted to tell you that you are by far the best panelist I have ever
seen—hands down! You are wicked smart and very, very funny without trying too hard to
be.”
Bryan’s participation highlights BridgePort Group’s leadership in advancing innovative and
resilient supply chain strategies, particularly within urban and opportunity-driven markets.
It also reinforces BPG’s commitment to bridging academic insight with real-world
application to elevate the supply chain profession.
