
CLEVELAND, OH — May 15, 2026 — BridgePort Group convened the inaugural Global Supply Chain Executive Roundtable at Cleveland’s Midtown Collaboration Center, bringing together senior executives from Northeast Ohio’s leading industries and economic development organizations to address the future of supply chains and
their critical role in Ohio’s economic growth.
The roundtable was developed and led by BridgePort to align regional industry leaders around the strategies, capabilities, and partnerships required to support Ohio’s high-growth sectors. These efforts directly support the JobsOhio 2030 plan, which is focused on strengthening the state’s competitive advantage across its identified
super sectors.
JobsOhio is working to accelerate growth in these super sectors, trillion-dollar industries that require advanced technologies, skilled workforces, resilient supply chains, and strong customer ecosystems that Ohio is uniquely positioned to support. BridgePort’s convening efforts are designed to ensure Northeast Ohio’s supply chains are
prepared to meet the scale, complexity, and performance demands of these industries.
Participants examined how global disruption, emerging technologies, and workforce shifts are reshaping supply chain strategy, with a focus on building resilient, agile systems capable of sustaining expansion across semiconductors, advanced aerospace and defense, life sciences and biotech, artificial intelligence, and
manufacturing sectors.
Sixteen companies and economic development organizations convened CEOs, presidents, supply chain and operations leaders. The roundtable aligned these leaders around shared challenges and opportunities in high- growth sectors reinforcing the need for coordinated action to scale capacity, improve visibility, and mitigate risk
across the supply chain.

Lillian Kuri, President and CEO of the Cleveland Foundation, welcomed participants and underscored the
importance of collaboration and leadership in strengthening the region’s economic and supply chain ecosystem.
Featured keynote speaker Nick Vyas, Founding Executive Director of the USC Marshall School of Business Global Supply Chain Institute, delivered remarks on “Reimagining Global Supply Chains – Disruption, Technology, and
Talent,” providing a global perspective on geopolitical shifts, tariff volatility, and Al-driven transformation.
